The Housing Finance Agency (HFA) and the Affordable Housing Corporation (AHC) offer financing to for-profit and not-for-profit developers to encourage the construction and preservation of affordable housing in communities across New York State. SONYMA also offers mortgage insurance to lenders of multifamily housing.
